There is a black metal ring on top where the cylinder rod comes in and out of the barrel, it has two holes on opposite sides of one another, before I brought it to John deer, I tried to spin the ring with large pair of channel locks. The ring was free spinning but somewhat tight but did not seem to be loosening or coming out at all. There is no exposed nuts on the outside of the barrel, but I do see the nut in the diagram I have. Do I spin the whole cylinder rod itself?</p></blockquote><p></p>
