tracks over tires will always add more stress to its drive train, and components, its just what it is
but HOW much more stress, tends to come down to how and where you use them, if your using them on grounds that allow for things to slip easier, say mud, snow, soft terrain, the stress is a lot less
if your using them on hard pack,, pavement, concrete, or very hard dirt! then your adding a lot more
so, the machines use matters maybe more than just adding tracks, to decide if they will do harm or cause things to wear out a LOT faster or not!
