older mustang 345

so we bought an older mustang 345 ford 1.6l gas motor and i put a starter in it and plugs but she still wont start also put a new ignition switch and battery. was just wondering if anyone new the firing order off the cap and on the motor? thanks eric

Bought a 345 and 1700 with rebuilt motors and installing right now. Curious if you've found an answer to this yet. From what ive found online the firing order on the block should be 1243 and the distributor runs counter clockwise. If you or anyone else knows different I'd love to hear about it. Also could use any wiring diagrams better than the garbage in the op manual. Thanks
