i have an older 600 and the hyd are not working as they should. it acks like it does not have much pressure or there is lots of air in system. i have changed the filter and have correct oil level. it has gotten so bad the speed lever will not work. is there anothe screen in line some place that could be plugged, or is the pump bad. jf

i posted this problem back in dec and did not get a reply. i thought maybe someone has had time to think about this. the only thing i can think of is replace the pump.

is that the wisconsin engine with the little hyd pump right on the engine by the flywheel? if so should be easy to get at and take off to explore its guts although I'd put a gauge on the line first to see what the pressure is.

Does it leak? it could be drawing in air?
The oil should not be foamy.
there is always a small spot of oil under it , but what old machine does not leak a little. i guess i should just take the pump off and rebiuld it or replace it. do they have rebiuld kits for these pumps. jf

Bobcat should have parts for it but maybe check it for pressure before taking it off. It could always be a relief valve stuck open in the valve body so oil just bypasses. If nothing else find and remove the relief clean it and see if anything changes.
