Hi folks, Does anyone know how to release the brake on an old L555? I need to move it and the engine is dead. Thanks for your help!

Foot operated pedals, with brake set pedal between foot controls. The release pedal is just above and next to set pedal. I suspect you will find that the brakes are not engaged and the hydraulic drive system is preventing movement of the machine. (On a flat surface, you can get four of the 4wheel car dollies fro HF and put under the wheels to move it around.) -Stef

I don't think your brakes are locked you have oil in your drive motors holding the wheels from moving

Ok, So other than the pedals, there is no real brake, like there is on other machines. Like a Gehl, for instance, has a hydraulically operated pin that engages the driveline when pressure goes away (engine dies) as a safety measure to prevent rolling. You put a porta-power into it to release it. That really what I was wondering about. I have to to recover this machine out of a mud hole next week. Anyway thanks folks!
