Only an acre but it needs a lot of sand added. Bought a Typhon 501 off eBay
(got a pretty leisurely prep schedule, will see), Busy shopping attachments
and parts meanwhile with an eye to making my own fronthoe digger out of
mini-excavator parts and box stock - so that I can also swap on the other
goodness out there for diggers, that loaders don't get to have.

So far have picked up an "arm extender" (for the business end pins) and links,
a beefy trailer hitch plate (to which will add some ears for tension braces, the
thing is pretty good but needs a bit more I think; got 2" A500 box and some
1/2x1-1/2 for stiffeners, and a digger bucket cylinder. Will have to lean on
others' experience for the plumbing, hydraulics noob. Plan on making the
whole thing "knockdown" for storage and swappage,

ALso keen to start in on inventing electrical-hydraulic add-ons as I find
and fix the limits of the new toy in the field. Like why not a ball-screw
actuated thumb off 12V?

Any chance there'll be a "Cheap Chinese Mini Skid" subforum? The
search engines said there's discussion here but I see no dedicated
subforum and only one post; all adult sized it seems. Where's the
"kids table"?

welcome to the site
as for a dedicated section for Chinese mini skid's/excavators,
I think that's a good idea

but might be tricky as there seems to be a ton of makers anymore, so, even with one, odds of someone having same make model, might be low!

but in time I think there will be one here, due to there popularity , due to price point on them, and being sold now in so many places!

Welcome to the Skidsteer forum. Theres no subforums for Chinese brands as there could be a lot that we don't know if but there are discussions here and there in the threads.
