I have an 530 that stops traveling as soon as it warms up, about 5 minutes after startup, gradually gets slower and weaker. I used the wrong hyd. fluid after I replaced some seals and hoses, could that be the problem? I tried to replace the hyd with the proper oil, but could only get about 2 gal. out. The new oil didn't seem to make a difference. The loader seems to work ok. It still bleeds off a little. I haven't tried using it with any kind of load though. Is it the pump or moter, hopefully something else? Any help would be great.

I'm wondering if it has the same basic setup as a 731 and older 743's. They had a suction line filter that was hidden, when it got plugged it caused lack of all drive power. Does your pump have a square block on the top with a bunch of hoses going into it? the filter on the 731 was behind the middle one on the left behind the fitting. You could ask your dealer if this machine has a suction line filter and where it is.
Wrong oil can cause problems, but I'd suspect they would be more noticeable when the machine warms up and thins out.

I think I fixed it! The oil might have been a bit of a red herring. The linkage for the steering was loose and way out of adjustment. I have it working now, but I am just guessing about the proper settings. Any ideas? It was a good idea to change the oil anyway. Thanks!

I think swapping out the oil would be a good idea, i have never worked on that model machine so i can't really give you the proper adjustment.
