I use my BCat about 40 hours a year. I usually keep good records about my oil changes in my equipment and vehicles... but I can not find where I recorded what kind of oil I was using for my BCat. Since I like to run the same thing, yet I don't know, I am starting over so I thought I would get opinions as to what to use.

Anybody run synthetic? why or why not?
I use 15W-40 synthetic Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel oil in my T-200. I just ordered oil, and I got the 5W-40 Mobil 1 TD oil for the winter. Deutz recommends 0W-40 oil for the BF4M1011F as I remember. I run synthetic in all my engines. Engine technology has come so far, I can't say that my good results are because of the oil, but it makes me feel better.

You can run synthetic if you want, but I don't see a reason to. A Kubota will run 20,000+ hours on dino oil just fine.
