Oil light

So I may have done something stupid when I was changing the oil I wanted to get it all out, so I blew compressed air down into the engine to squirt out more oil. Now, when I start the machine, the oil light comes on and the machine shuts down. Did I mess something up?

I have done that before using about 10 psi of compressed air with no ill effects to remove cold engine oil in cooler temps. Why do you look at the oil pressure sensor and see if you dist,urbed the sensors electrical connections. If it does not sense oil pressure it will turn off within a few seconds. Sounds like what you got going on.

I checked oil pressure and it was good. I replaced the oil pressure sensor and it works great. Thanks!! So now I have a fuel problem I think. The machine runs for a bit and then starts to spudder and rpm's go real low and then back up to running. It actually sometimes even shuts down. I have good fuel, brand new fuel filter and newer fuel pump. Could be air in the fuel lines? I am sure the engine is starving for fuel. I put a new fuel cap on and that didnt help(thought the vent was clogged). Any advice?

I would think after a few minutes of running time the air would be worked out unless there is a suction side (air) leak. I just went thru this kinda with mine ,I had a broken pick up tube in the fuel tank. To get my machine outta of the woods I took a portable marine style fuel tank with a primer ball hose put diesel in it and gravity feed the injection pump., worked very well and was then able to isolate the air leak moving the boat tank, fitting to fitting back to the tank.
