Oil found in fuel pump while replacing the pump s250

Was changing my fuel pump after it seemed that was what was keeping my bobcat from starting. While changing the fuel pump, oil started to come out where the pump goes in. Is there anywhere I should start to look for to find the cause, what are the most common reasons?

That is totally normal, the lift pump runs off the injector cam, this is all lubricated with oil.
