Odd steering lockups

I have an ASV RC 50. Drives forward and reverse just fine. When trying to spin in place (yes I know it tears up the ground LOL) the machine locks up. The pump is still trying to turn the machine. The arms and bucket function still work at a reduced rate because of the engine drag. I just changed a drive hose and overfilled the hydraulic reservoir. I drained the fluid back down to correct level thinking perhaps the over full condition restricted the drive some way. Any ideas?

Locks up? as in bogs the engine down? or just not enough power to tear up the ground when turning?
