Nuetralizer fix leads to different problems.

Ok, so I bought the VW steering stabilizers Gabriel 14005 Steering Damper, 1 Pack,silver,SE109 Amazon product ASIN B001AMA2L4To replace my worn out neutralizers. It's now MUCH easier to operate, but there is no return function, and starting it is a total PITA. I have to hold both sticks tight (the right one more than the left) and then start it, so it's a four-limb operation, and any rpm under about 1200 send the sticks dancing and then stalls the machine.

Has intone had any luck rebuilding the old neutralizers? Looks like messicks carries the parts….
