Non articulating backhoe attachment for Bobcat S185

Hi There, I'm looking at purchasing a non-articulating backhoe attachment for a Bobcat S185. The manufacturer and reseller both state that it will work fine (Bobcat has enough weight and power), but was hoping to find out if anybody has some real life experience with one. I'm a little skeptical.... We would be using it to dig the odd trench, remove small to mid sized root tree root balls and lift logs and stuff. The backhoe will reach 6' deep and is 12" wide.
