Trouble shot down to no voltage going too the orange w/ white wire to the glow plug relay. Following the schematic it shows this wire going up to the BOSS controller. Possible pin connection issue ? or would the BOSS be faulty, there are no codes showing at all, it does do the count down but once again no voltage to glow plug rail because the glow plug relay is not getting pulled in. thanks in advance

glow plug countdown on boss is sensed by hyd temp switch. typically on boss usualy just a sender. not always. in reality glows just need 12v a fused momentary switch, will get the job done, the 863 had a glow button if you need parts to bypass, ask parts dude for 863 glow button and wire it in fuse it in case of shorts.

Thanks for the reply, just curious why would the hydraulic temperature switch cause this ? We check the coolant level and coolant temp sensors, there ok. We have a schematic to follow also. Do you know the ohm value of a hydraulic temp switch or how do I check ? thanks much
