MCT 135C / JCB 300T running fine all of a sudden the bucket slowly came down lost all hydraulics now it’s stuck in my driveway. How can I tell if the main pump is shot, I have the manual but it’s kinda gibberish. I know they’re pump always had a whine to it and you kinda had to rev it up to get any kind of work out it before. Now, no whine, no nothing ! Mechanics, especially mobile, in this neck of the woods are far and few between.

I have not a clue about that machine, but I assume that all the controls are electric in some way so check the fuse box ,maybe you will get lucky.

How about the seat belt? Some machines stop all hydraulic functions if the seat lap belt is disconnected.

I tried some research and had limited success. Check the operator's manual first to see if it gives any warnings about things that will cause the slow stopping/dropping. Maybe Kenskip1 is correct. The machine is claimed to be easy maintenance access, so tilt the cab and do a visual check. It looks like a gearbox driven hydraulic system for most Volvo equipment. Let us know what you find. Happy hunting.
