I just got an older L554 from a friend of mine and trying to make it work. The machine ran out of oil and they let it go. I put oil in it and tried it out. Everything works except the boom, I cant seem to have oil pressure in it. I have tried keeping the pedal up and down, there is pressure to lower the arms but not to raise them. I open the fittings at the bottom of the cylinders and noting, one had a little oil in it but nothing under pressure. What can be wrong, how do i diagnose this problem, I am new to tractors and hydraulic. Do I need to bleed it somehow? Thanks for pointing me in the right direction</p></blockquote><p></p>
