I will confess to not being at all mechanically savvy, so please be gentle. We have an older Scattrak 2300D which is used lightly around the dogyard and occasionally has to move pallets of dogfood, meat or fish. Today, it was unloading pallets of salmon when it simply quit moving. Engine is still running fine, hydraulics are working, forklift blades go up and down, and tilt. But there's absolutely no response to the levers. Is there anything obvious I should be looking at before paying a professional to laugh at me?

Does it fight you when you try and move the sticks? or is it simply dead?
I'm wondering if it is a safety switch causing the brake to come on, if not it sounds like it may even be the coupling from the engine to the drive pumps.
