Hello all,
Louie here, I watch forums for about I year before I join, I am selective. I have found this to be one of the best forums around.
No BS, nice friendly people with great knowledge and advice. I love Fords, Subarus and Volvos, dogs, cats, chickens and now Bobcats.
A friend gave me an 843 2000 hrs, then I got another for parts (10,000 hrs ??? LOL) not knowing at the time that they were not the same, one is HF.
I just picked up an 05 T190 HF with 4200 hours at auction runs well, no codes, so far its needs sprockets and maybe tracks.
I will be trading information about all three.
I am also learning to weld.
I live in California and need to make my property fire safe so I can afford to keep it (fire insurance here can be devastating).
I would love to be able to afford a newer model that needs nothing, and pay someone else to maintain it, but that ain't happening!!!
I know my way around a wrench and I am picking up basic welding pretty fast.
Glad to be here.
