Hello, I recently purchased a 1999 case 1840, and still trying to figure out a few things. Is there a downloadable service and operators manual? Can I run a brush hog and if so any recommendations on brands? Can I use Napa or do I need to find a case dealer for filters and parts? Does anyone use a Solar battery charger? BTW, I enjoy reading other post on DIY repairs. Thanks in advance for all your support!!!!! Greg

How did you post the picture in your thread? i don't know how on this forum. If your machine has auxilary hydraulics you might be able to. I don't know if it requires high flow or not.

Hello,Manuals ebay found mine used.No to bush hog without high flow.Napa fine on filters.Had 2 1840 case machine both bought with needing pump overhaul.Cummins great engine.Best machine had 12000 hrs.
