Hello Gentleman, I have a Bobcat 610 with a gas engine. I dont know the year. Anyways I was out moving about a foot of heavy snow. I got stuck and was trying to move her out of the ditch. Well she started making a rough loud noise. The noise seems to go away when the gas lever is moved to 3/4 throttle but comes back at idle. It also revs a bit higher when I start to raise a load..like something kicks in. And then the noise will be heard again. I dont know what the kick in is??? When moving the snow it seems to add power and then the noise gets louder. It also seems the noise quits after the kick in comes off. That is with the throttle at 3/4 power. I hope I am not imagining the kick in thingie..any ideas about that. Any ideas about what to look for with the loud noise. It seems to make extra smike to and smells weird. I am a basic mechanic at best. But I need the machine and as with the times..money is needed in other areas. So I have to keep in maintained. Thanks alot, Richard
