I just picked up a older (80ish) bobcat 610 with the Wisconsin motor in her. long story short the vent on the oil fill line was blocked off so the pressure blew the oil fill cap off... Where can i get another fill cap since mine was burried in mud...

Welcome to the forum! Lots of guys on here still running 600's and 610's. Try Googling the Surplus Centre, they may have something. If not, there is always eBay, and then, if worse comes to worse, the dealer. Most parts are still available for these old units. HTH - SR

Thanks for the quick reply, i have been looking on e-bay and so far nothing... i dont fully remember what it looked like and need one to finish my first of many projects with it. if anyone has time mind sending me a link to one? thanks and hopefully my next post will be regarding something more knowledgeable then a oil cap...

Google Bobcat Parts, you should see "landing.bobcat.com/parts/", once on that page, click on Parts Catalog. When the new page loads, pick your machine from the drop down menu. You should be able to see what it looks like on the parts page. Once you have the part number, drop it into Google and see what comes up. HTH - SR

There were two types of caps....one pressed on the other screwed on. You should have the screw on...it is part #6515567 from bobcat, give a dealer your card number and it can be shipped to you in a couple of days. I get mine at NAPA but I'm sorry, I'm working out of state right now and don't have that part number available for a few days. I get back home I'd just mail you one...they're not expensive.

I have the style that looked like a radiator cap. I added a pic of it to my profile to the left of this message. Pittauto did not have the correct one I tried to go to bobcat webpage for the parts list and my computer does not like the program that needs to be downloaded. i'll try it tomorrow on my work computer. I might just take the filler neck tube of and head to NAPA tomorrow after work to see if they can match one up. Also i am running her of a external fuel tank since the original one has the pick up tube broken off in the frame of the machine. I think i'm going to be adding some metal tubing down to the bottom as a pick up tube. I was thinking about going through the gas fill cap since i can drill/seal it easier then into the frame/fuel tank. Any suggestion before i get going on this project?
