I am looking at a LS 180 and it has something I am not familiar with. The wheels are split and rubber tracks are installed that pull in-between the wheels. Is this something that I should be worried about, I have seen the regular tracks but none like this.

Hmmm, it sounds to me that this has some sort of custom “anti de-track” system. I imagine it is there so the tracks stay in place but, i have never heard of, or seen anything like this before. Especially not on a normal wheeled skid steer.... Personally I would steer clear, as it sounds to be something custom or home made and subsequently would be impossible to find parts for it or fix it without doing custom work.
