So I am new to this forum and new to bobcat also. I just picked up a 763 for real cheap in need of some love so hopefully you guys can point me in the right direction to get this straightened out. I know first I am going to need a repair manual so is there one preferred over others for this? The machine needs rear axle bearings and needs some electrical attention. the machine fires right up and runs great but the right side unlock button is hanging, the left side unlock button is in contact but there was also a toggle switch hanging on the left side that is also a lock-unlock (i can hear it unlock when i flip the switch) I could not get the hydraulics to unlock when I got it home and after I got the machine off the trailer I found a broken rod end laying on the deck of the trailer that I am assuming is the unlock for the hydraulics? Now for the axle bearings is there a way to just remove the whole upper chassis as a unit or just the cab can get pulled off?

Kinda sounds like someone really got into the electrics....
As for the bearings, no need to remove the chassis, there is heaps of space under the cab to access the rear axle sprockets/chains.
Now the brake, can you get a picture of the dash? see if we can work out what one you have and how to get it back to how it should be.

Boss picked up a 1999 763 some years ago, bought a print on demand parts man and service man, came loose leaf had to get a binder. For online parts you can go to bobcat.com and follow the links, but you have to be running Internet explorer, and install the software to display pictures - it works well, can print diagrams and part list with the latest of superceded p/n. Also can click on pick list, then print or save to get part prices. Only pain, is no live part lookup, you have to print and call far as I have found out. The little red tiny icon at the top left corner takes you back to menu level, took me a bit to figure out. The full size fold out schematics are worth the cost though.
