I've never owned or operated a skidsteer until a month ago when I bought a S185. It's has concrete splashed all over the front and was wondering what the best method of trying to remove it. I did fix the hydro bobtach by cleaning and greasing the moving parts. The bucket in the pic is not the one that came with it as I bought it afterwards. I have the other bucket with about a wheelbarrow of concrete in it and the side tore loose. ps how do I post a pic?

Muratic acid works to some extent to remove concrete but the best bet is hammer and chisel. I have an air hammer that I have used to descale rust and concrete from machines in the past but it requires paint after the fact. Pics are a problem for me as well so hopefully someone will post a link to the instructions.

you have to be careful with muriatic acid, it can mess stuff up pretty good. it works better on lime (mortar) than portland cement. are you talking just some splash? best bet is to scrape it off.

Pictures have be hosted somewhere on the web. Then just copy and paste the image(not the link) into the post.
