Hey there. My name is Carlos. I recently bought mountain property here in CO. I am trying to make the gravel road going up to my property better cause the rain messed it up badly. I purchased a 2011 Cat skid steer with about 6k hours. I am learning to operate it, but I already started having some issues with it. I would like to pick up hints and suggestions for the issues I am having with it.
For now, it will work fine for 30-40 minutes, it dies, then will won't start when cranked right after it died. It will start after a couple of hours, or next day. Any suggestions as to what is happening to my Cat front loader?

welcome to the site

MY suggestion will be , have a compression test done, as at 60000 hours, that's about time for a rebuild
its sounds like its loosing compression after it gets warmed up, but then re starts when cold again, ! so that's where I would start !

and you will get better /more help, on this, if you start a thread in the CAT section, rather than in the introduction section

Thank you for the response. I can start with a compression test, and will post in the CAT section.
