New member with a question on Manuals

Thanks to all of you for the forum. i have already used some useful information found here to assist in servicing my new (to me) NH LX665. I have a downloadable service manual for the machine which at 800 plus pages seems pretty comprehensive but one thing which I hoped was in it isn't. I accidentally set a lock code in the EIC. Using the code I am able to start the machine but the hydraulics remain locked. I would like to reset the EIC using the Master Code. New Holland customer service, at least that's what they call it, refers me to my dealer who tells me they will have to refer the matter to New Holland. I haven't heard from either in about a month. Needless to say I will not be purchasing anything from New Holland or this Dealer in the future. The service manual I have only tells me to contact my local dealer. The same information as in the Operators Manual. I am not asking anyone here that has spent hundreds of dollars on a manual to give me the code. Only if you can let me know if I purchase a hard copy official New Holland Dealer Service Manual will it have the Master Unlock and Reset codes in it? Thanks

Well, that's not ideal customer service at all....
I believe the master code is serial number specific, you will not get it from a manual.
I'm going to move this to the NH section, hopefully Mike10 will see it and give you advise, he knows NH machines inside and out.

The master code is not in the service manuals. Publishing the code would be a security risk for all owners who use a code, that is why you are referred to your dealer. Try a different dealer.
