Hello all! I acquired a Case 1816C from a friend of mine. Looking into buying a manual next. It has some jumpy starting issues and some clanky transmission stuff that is likely just out of adjustment. Previous owner had the 2cyl Onan engine rebuilt by case and the pump rebuilt by case 7 years ago, then let the machine sit 7 years....cleaned the carburetor, added some hydraulic oil and replaced the filters. Runs great! I've been using it around my house to build a small vintage window green house for my wife (work in progress, just got the concrete piers put in), and general house junk clean up. Pretty neat so far. Gives me the bug to get some more of these machines and fix them up! I work on vintage motorcycles so my wife is quite worried more of these things will show up like the bikes do! Glad to be on this forum, if I can help anyone remotely with a carb problem, feel free to ask!
