Hi, First time owner of a skid, bought an LS-170 that looked really good. When I got it here it had a nice paint job, and some issues. Mainly want to get the auxiliary circuit working. Right hand control has auxiliary at the top with a lock pin. Unlocked it, still wouldn't move. Traced linkage back and figured out that the spool was sticking. Got it un-stuck and need to replace my female coupler on the skid to try it out. Seems like the most travel is when you pull the stick toward you or to the direction to the inside of the cab. Not as much when you go the other way. Still hoping it will work ok. for the grapple. Can anyone tell me if a brush cutter works well on a standard flow LS-170 ( I know I need to get a standard flow cutter) I'm just trying to figure out how it stays in the 'on' position when running a brush cutter. Doesn't seem to have a detent. Any info appreciated. It's a strong running smooth machine, but I have some little aggravating things to fix. It was sold to me as a 1900 hour machine, and when I got it the instrument panel was completely dead. They described as dim and hard to read, but it was completely dead so not sure of actual hours. Seems hard to find an instrument panel or repair source for it. Thanks,
