Just wanted to post regarding a 2013 New Holland L230 issue I had.
I had a seat belt light flashing like it was not engaged. The seat belt connection was a little weak with part of the belt engagement broken on one side of the female. Upon opening it was really dirty and upon removing/ inspection of the small electrical switch, it sort of came apart. A simple jumper of the switch did not resolve either…. so a new seat belt when in from NH ($105).
This did not resolve. So I went through all the unlabeled fuses, nothing obvious.
A posting out there from the internet mentioned a mouse nest being a similar cause to this issue, in which upon pulling the carpet back around the washing fluid tank, there it was. A large mouse nest with my seat belt system wires chewed up.
Wires reconnected and the system and new seat belt are back to functioning and now I can move the machine.
Hope this helps someone.
