New Holland L555 final drive.

I have a New Holland L555 skidsteer the left final drive is gone. To make along story short I ordered a new one it came yester day and is the wrong one! The old one that went is splined and keyed and the new one was not? So what to do next I am not sure do they have kits to rebuild my old one or can I modify the new one to work via a machine shop?

Is this drive unit the same other than the splined end? Is the output shaft keyed for a keyway where you can change out the spline to that drive? Makes me wonder. Is the Key sheared on the old one and are the splines in good shape? Hard to say without seeing.
