Turn the key on and the foot pedal that operates the boom should lock into a float position if you push it all the way forward, then you can lift the boom with another machine or a hoist or lift. Be extremely careful that the boom is secured so it cannot drop as there will be nothing to stop it until it hits bottom! It will fall faster than you can get out of the way!</p></blockquote><p></p>
