I bought this skid used but couldn't test it's lifting capabilities. It can lift say 1/3 bucket dirt ok but any more, I have to go full throttle and it goes real slow lifting. I have it full of hyraulic fluid at the dipstick near the area where my leg would rest. Is there another area for fluid I need to check or other possible problems that could cause this. I assume that you would fill the reservoir full with the boom down, at rest right? thanks

To check the oil you sit the arms down, tilt the bucket back so all the rams are retracted.
As for the lack of lifting power, your aux hydraulics may be stuck on. Also the pump could be weak or the relief is stuck open slightly. You can install a 3,500PSI gauge to the aux couplings and engage the aux hydraulics to check the main system pressure. It should be 2,500-3,000 PSI.

I've got the same machine, mine will lift so much it'll pull the thing whole machine over.
If your engine is strong check both breather filters make sure they're clean (they're located on each side by your calfs, under 1/2 dollar sized caps) also check the suction hose and screen. The suction screen is by your right foot..remove the panel in front below the seat..then remove 2 small bolts (10 mm I think) to remove the right side panel, that pipe thing with the suction line on it has the screen inside.
The front pump is easy to remove..also easy to open and inspect the pump parts..look at my past posts..I attached some pics of it apart.
Do you have a repair manual?
I've done a few repairs to mine.. very happy now.
Let me know if I can help.
