New gas cap for 4xx series bobcats

At least one brand and style of gas cap for the "Non automotive" gas cap is KELCH Guardian 225. Available as blank cap only or with various length senders. The 440b would appear to tolerate a 16 inch gauge but a 13-1/2 is the longest common one so that is what I have ordered. Old cap had suffered from 20+ years of gas exposure so wasn't keeping gas in or rain and dirt out, not to mention the engine dying was only indictor of low fuel. Will advise fit n function

Are you talking about the fuel gauge/cap on the 4xx series? im missing one, just curious how much did you pay?

The cap with the fuel gauge on my 463 seems to be leaking also. I don’t see anything obvious as to why, so I keep meaning to call my dealer for a price on a new one, but keep forgetting. Glad to hear it didn’t cost a fortune for a new one...
