i'm going to be moving my 907 backhoe with a friends new holland tomorrow morning first thing.. i'm not gonna dig or anything, just transporting on his trailer. can i just hook it up to his to move adjust the boom to fit on the trailer, even though his takes different fluid? i don't want his fluid in my machine if it will mess up stuff. thanks

What fluid does his machine use? What fluid do you have in your machine? To answer the question about adjusting the boom, the moment you connect the hoe to his couplers, you will have his fluid in your hoe's system. But if the fluids are fairly similar, this should not be a problem. A lot of machines use motor oil in the hydraulics.

I don't think that you will have a problem, but you may want to think about changing your oil and filter, just so that you know when it was last done.
