Hello, I have a late 70's 440 mustang skid steer with chain drive. IT moves forward and backwards great but when I go to turn it just snaps/clicks loudly, both ways, and will not turn. From what I gather there are 2 motors per side for fwd/rev and the other motor to turn. Is this a hydrostatic motor repair or hydraulic adjustment? Thanks for your ideas and wisdom, Stephen

You might want to post this in the Mustang section of the forum to get a bit better help. Most of the guys in this section are Bobcat guys and might not know as much as in people reading the Mustang section. Good luck, hope you find a simple fix.

It is possible the issue is a slipping chain, best to check before you possibly cause more damage to the chain and sprockets.
