Mustang 330 not charging

I have a Mustang 330 with the Onan motor that the charging system does not work . I have found that there were two different charging systems and I have the one that is not repairable. What can be done to install some sort of a charging system? Thank you

is it possible to convert to the other style, that might be the easiest vs making brackets and trying to find a good place to place a external alt. with the correct size pulley to get a good charging speed. It would though make sense if the stock system did not give you the amps that you might need to run extra lights or other assessories. Some of those engines had multiable size charging systems as options so that might be something to look at.
