Message: <blockquote data-quote="GRN250" data-source="post: 99948" data-attributes="member: 14626"><p>The manual didn't explain how to perform this task so I will share what it took for me to remove the fuel tank. 1 Disconnect the fuel sending unit wiring (one brown and one white wire). 2 Disconnect the fuel supply (rear of fuel tank) and return (right side of engine block) fuel lines. 3 Remove the rear door from the skid steer making sure to disconnect the electrical plug at the left side of the cover near the hinge area. Removing this cover requires removing two bolts and lifting up on the cover about 1 1/2 inches. 4. Drain and remove the radiator/hyd. cooler. This also requires removing two bolts and lifting up to get the radiator to disengage from the mount. 5. Loosen and remove the bolt going through the right side engine mount/isolator. This this the mount with the rubber pads. 6. Using an engine support. lift the engine from the top until the engine lifts off the right side engine mount about a 1//2". 7. Remove the five nuts securing the right side engine mount to the skid steer chassis and remove the mount. This is a very tight area so be patient as it will move. 8. You should now be able to remove the fuel cell. Be careful not to damage the fuel sending unit wiring stud when removing the tank. 9. Reverse this procedure to install the tank.
