Mustang 2050 stalling in reverse

My Mustang 2050 has started to 'Bog Down' when reversing. The machine works great for a few hours and then I tend to lose power and recently it actually stalled. Although this is happening intermittently, I tend to think it generally occurs when reversing. Any clues would be sincerely appreciated.
