Hi, the issue started couple of days ago. Was working fine, stopped and when I have started it again, the engine cout out after few seconds. Started again a few times and eventually the issue went away. Today, it worked again for a while and after stopping it and starting again the engine cut out again. Since then I can't work with it, it just stops (the engine cust out ever 4-5 seconds. It can't be fuel, as the engine starts very easy, straight after, but cuts out again, and again... Not the seat and seatbelt as I have tried everything, even shorted them, no change This issue seems to come up only after working with the Mustang for a while, could be hours. What could it be? Engine temperature is fine, hydraulic fluid temperature is also ok by the gauge. There is oil in the engine and fluid also topped up. Is there a way to bypass this safety system to finish this job? TIA, Tom

It appears to be an issue with the Auto-Shutdown safety system. It first runs for 30 seconds and shuts down. Subsequently it runs only for about 5 seconds. If you leave it for a little while, it will run for 30 second first up again, and starts the 5 second cycle afterwads. No warning light comes on contrary to the manual as the manual states that if one of the alarms go off, this is exactly ehat should happen, but one of the warning lights should come on, here I have none, all looks fine but shuts down regardsless. Temperature can't be as even after a day it does the same thing. Fluid levels all checked, fine. Oils pressure of the engine could be but I would expect a light to come on. Any ideas how to trouble-shoot? Also, where is the Hydraulic fluid temperature sensor if anyone happen to know ? TIA Tom

It does sound like the computer is shutting you down. I guess it is always possible a warning bulb is not working soyou don't know there is a problem. I'd start with the critical items, engine oil pressure and hydraulic charge pressure.
What does the dash look like? when you turn the key to on, do the indicators for engine oil pressure and charge pressure come on? They should go off when started.
Sorry, never worked on a Mustang, so i'm just guessing here.
