Hi all . new to the forum. I have a 2007 2044 with 480 hrs. Bought it with 350, but i only use it around my property. Was running thru the yard and it just shut off. No lights on the overhead, nothing. I have 12v going to the switch, but nothing to acc or ign. I replaced the switch thinking it was bad, but no help.
I would think some lights or the panel with the green led's would show something. Would a safety switch shut down the whole machine? Also does the whole dash and block with led's run through the switch? I don't know where to begin here. Thanks in advance.

And one more--The reset in the engine bay works. It kills the power going to the switch when you pull it out.

I know nothing about that machine really ,but on my machine there is a switch in the seat that must get activated to get anything to go on, good luck

there is a switch there but i jumped it and still no go. Thought i figured it out, found broken hot wires that come out of the starter. Corroded at the lug. Repaired it and still nothing. Think I have a bad deutsch connector under the seat with the power leading to the dash. Spades were in bad shape. Had 12v then it disappeared?? Splitting headache now. Try again tomorrow. If anyone has a wiring schematic can you send a screenshot please. Thanks
Now that I think about it I need to check all those switches again. Jumped them before I found the bad wires. stupid me Damn

The seat switch may be normally closed ,it may have failed open, and need to be open. Just a thought , good luck

Are your fuses all ok and no corrosion ? if it has the later wiring harness the connection between the rops & engine harness
will be under the seat plate in the hydro pump area, there is a large 2 spade wire connection (12v power & ground) that burns out over time, i have repaired those connections numerous times by cutting the harness connectors off & used heat shrink butt connectors to splice them together, solving the problem. its usually the ground side of it that fails, it supplies ground to the dash

Hey all. Firefighter you are correct. We were tracing wires back from the reset to the cab and were getting inconsistent readings on voltage. I pulled that connector apart and it was green with corrosion. I have a deutsch connector removal tool so I was able to pull the wires out. The hot was corroded and loose. I cleaned up the connections and plugs, then put a little dielectric on them. Put it back together and boom. Everything is good. I had some extra wire and butts ready to go but it all looked good when I got done. The females need to be tightened a little. Now I plan on going over as much as I can as far as cleaning connections.
Oh yeah, when I was checking the leads coming off the starter I just moved a few to see what shape they were in and two of them snapped right off at the lug on the starter. Had to repair that also. How does the copper get so bad? Thanks for the help all!
