I highly recommend adding small mesh screen on top of the lift up hood and the fixed grill behind the cab. Too many leaves and sticks can fall threw the factory grill and onto the top of the engine causing a fire. I used nylon screen that you would use to sreen in a porch. I also put aluminium screen over the engine for added protection and it will handle the heat from the engine. The nylon screen on top of the grill is held on with magnets. If your wondering yes my machine caught fire and yes I was in it. It sucks being stuck in a cab waiting for the arms to go down with the manual let down valve while black smoke rolls out the hood!
