Hi all, just bought an 88 Mustang 442 for the farm. There appears to be hydraulic fluid leaking from the front of the plate on the floor in front of the seat. It is slowley bubbling out and appaears milky/brown. After a couple of hours session the floor is covered in fluid. Before I go cleaning up, pressure washing etc.. would anyone have an idea on how serious this could be? I'm thinking a hose leak somewhere from under the seat. Thanking you.

I would run it a bit and then check all your fluids , milky and brown is a sign of water in the oil . see what systems are contaminated , then go look for the leak , no sense fixing a leak and then having to drain the oil. do it all at the same time. And try to figure out how the water got in there too. IMO
