Mt55 hydraulic cooling fan

Hello all I bought an mt55 and never owned one before. I picked it up for cheap with a blown motor so i rebuilt it, it runs great but was wondering if the cooling fan is supposed to run as soon as i start it or is it on a temp sensor. Thanks to any info

You might want to grab the manual here and see if there is any info there. At least it should tell if there is a sensor in the circuit somewhere.
