Fellas, I bought a bobcat auger that came with a 24" bit. It has some wear around the replacable teeth and I was thinking about installing 6-8 replaceable rock teeth, the round type. Is this a good idea on a bit this size?, or should I just stay with orginal teeth?.

I'm not sure they would work as good in soil. The round teeth are for frost, rock and asphalt. I believe I'd stick with the oem style. I looked into trenchers and was told the bullet teeth are for the above tough conditions but the standard teeth would outperform them in dirt as they clear the full path.
