Mitey Mac 10 Starter

Hello All, I'm looking for starter #s on a Mitey Mac 10 98cid Ford. I was told there is a light duty car starter, but it doesn't last long. Ford stamped starter case # 82GB 11000 BA. I believe Wilson # 91-15-6836 but neither is available. Please let me know if you have any information. Thanks G.

I'm not declaring this as absolute gospel, but that might be the same starter you'd find in a Ford VSG-411 engine. Ford industrial engines usually have their roots in production car engines. the 411 was a 1.7 L engine but ford made it in smaller displacements to run chippers and other equipment. Don't know where you are but there's a company called Powertech engines in Fullerton, California. Presuming he hasn't retired, Felix might be of some help to you. It might be worth a phone call. You'll want the engine model and s/n off the engine I.D. plate.
