Hey all, I have started to build a electric powered mini loader. Instead of pictures, I have a video log on youtube. Take a look. If you got any suggestion or advise, please let me know. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1XL6h4Wre3c&t=16s

Nice job, i'd like to know how much use you get per charge. If you ensure the battery is located in the right place, you can use it as a counter weight.

Hi, Right now I am running 4x battery module in parallel, 1.2kwh 48v module... which gives me about 5kwh and 4kwh useable engery. It pulls about 1000watts under mild load and 2000watts under cylinder lock. Upon my test of driving around and carrying various things after 15mins of running, it uses about 400watts/hour. So I estimate it would give me about 2.5-3hours of continuous run time.

That's a lot less energy use than I expected it would use. A mid sized bobcat runs an engine that puts out 34kw of energy, I know that is not electrical energy, but it's energy all the same and some is consumed when driving and lifting.
I'd be interested in seeing how it goes after more testing.
How do the LIPO packs handle the vibration/impacts from use on uneven ground?

The battery are Lithium Ion and they were design for car, so they are very well built. The cells are encased in a aluminum/metal and vibration won't be an issue. Here's the cost video: https://youtu.be/p7HJO2S5LRM Here's the what it can do so far: https://youtu.be/wgLTWo_RAig

That's quite an impressive amount of work out of just two batteries, i'm amazed.

Just watched some of your videos, and have to say that I am very impressed. My question might be answered in other videos, but did you start form scratch or start with an existing mini loader and modify. Either way, very impressive.

Just watched your cost, time video, and that answered my previous question. Now I have another one. Are you interested in producing unites for sale or is this just a hobby project?
