Merry Christmas to all and thank you for all the help and replies this past year. Now with that said let me throw this at ya.
With the market slow and cheaper I'm thinking about a New used Toy for my toy box. It need's to have AC & Heat, power bobtack and my 709 backhoe attachment must fit.
Options S205, S185. Here's the ??? look's like the T180 & T190's are pretty close in used price now with the same hours. I'm fully aware of track wear and cost. Other than that is there and yr models the drive motors are better or other problems? I'm the only operator and I keep everything service as requred. So what's your thinking on it ? Dennis

Merry Christmas, too.
Here's my two cents, but definitley NOT from an operator's standpoint, and I've probably said it before.
I love Bobcats, but the T180/190 is probably the worst machine they've ever thrown out there IMO. I believe the problem is they need more power to turn that track than they have, like trying to roll a phone book around a pencil, constantly, with every inch you travel.
I try to recall any owner who loved his. I cannot. I can only remember the complaining.
The S185 is the standard medium-frame workhorse machine.
The guys I know that went with S205 said “This is the machine that Bobcat finally got right.”
It comes down to wheels vs. tracks. If I was going to get a tracked machine, it would be a large frame, ie, T250, T300.
I like the S205.
