Hi, all. I have a problem with the drive pulley on my Melore M600. There is a snap ring that holds the two halves of the motor variable sheave together, that keeps popping out. I have the snap ring installed correctly. The groove for the snap ring is no longer sharp and square. It now has a worn "ramp" on the thrust face. I don't know how to fix this short of removal, brazing, and re-machining. See the media section, page 3, Melroe M600 for pics detailing my woes. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. This is nothing but a big paper weight right now....Tim in Mass

Are you able to take it out and machine it for a larger nap ring? this way you can clean up the thrust face so it's nice and square and not have to heat it.
