Its kind of a hair raising experience and I prefer to have a bucket full of something to help hold its nose down. I won't load it backwards because the weight breaks over too fast and the bed tries to rare on up. I MUCH prefer to load onto my gooseneck over putting the machine in the bed of the truck.
