2009 S250 high-low 3000 hrs. Blew a bucket tilt hose and replaced with no leaks. Then saw a fair amount of hydro oil leaking near the case drain. The leak favors the right side if looking from the rear.
Have all inspection plates off and can't see anything obvious.
So at idle with bar up no leak. With bar down and traction control override depressed no leak. Drive it or use lift arm it will clear the hydro inspection glass in a few minutes.

Im thinking the main seal on the pump. Any other thoughts ? How much should the dealer charge to put a new seal in if in fact that is the source of the leak?

Hey, man
Had something similar on an older skid steer. Took me a while to track it down but here's what I found. It only leaks when you drive or use the lift arm (under pressure) does point toward the pump shaft seal. That's usually the first thing to go at higher hours. But I'd also check the case drain line fitting itself and the hydrostatic pump O-rings before assuming it's the main seal. I think you're probably looking at $200–$400 labor, depending on your area, plus parts. Maybe you can get parts from aftermarket suppliers like Friday parts or napa for less.
